I finally finished processing the rest of the pictures (at least the ones I think are pretty good) from last Saturday's Omaha Indian POW WOW. The costumes and dancing were incredible. I wish I knew more about what the various feathers, designs etc. meant. If you ever get a chance to go to one of these do so. But be warned that some of the POW WOW's do not permit photos. This one did except for one particular part of the ceremony and as far as I could tell everyone obeyed. Here is a link to the pictures.

Pow Wow
Went to the Indian Pow Wow at Fort Omaha this weekend. I have been to these before and I decided to concentrate on the colorful costumes, kids and interesting faces. Here are three of the kids that I thought were unique. Some of them really got into the dances. The little boy in blue is four years old. His dancing was so wild that he often lost his balance and almost fell over. But no fear. He just incorporated it into his dance.

And The Rest From Westpoint...............
These images are just some from the car show that I thought were a little different (and we all know that I am a little different). Anyhow, please enjoy them. I will be posting them soon on my other site at http://prill.zenfolio.com/ .
When you go to a colorful car show you have to dress colorfully.

Some Hot Rods..... and bike
There were so many cars at the Westpoint car show and after attending quite a few cars shows this year, I tried to pick out some vehicles that were different for me. I processed them with lightroom and photoshop using some of my magic and blurred the backgrounds so that the cars stood out more. Hope you enjoy them.
This next one was for sale. They were asking for $22,000 or best offer. rich and I decided to poole our money to buy it but the guy wouldn't take $40.00. Go figure.

Start Your Engines
Yesterday my friend Rich and I went up to Westpoint Nebraska for a car show. This is called "The Last fling Till Spring". It is a huge show that limits the entries to 750 vehicles. I say vehicles because there is just about everything that you can imagine there. So I am going to start off posting the engines that I saw that in my opinion were over the top. Can you say chrome and powerful? Enjoy.
